The Nut House~Woods Pond

This thoughtfully designed tiny home feels anything but tiny! Tucked on a hillside above Woods Pond, it features a queen four-poster bed, full bath, outdoor shower, full kitchen, washer/dryer, cozy living and dining spaces, and a twin-bed loft perfect for reading. Enjoy water views, a shared association dock, paddleboards, and a fire pit. Bright, spotless, and peaceful—your perfect retreat in the heart of Maine’s Lakes Region. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature.

Located just minutes from downtown Bridgton, this peaceful retreat is perfectly situated—close to hiking trails, art galleries, antique shops, great restaurants, and local gems like the historic movie theater and the Rufus Porter Museum. On warm evenings, head to the beloved drive-in or enjoy Music on Main, a free outdoor concert series in the heart of town.

For food lovers, Bridgton offers a mix of upscale dining, cozy cafés, and casual food trucks. You can also order fresh seafood from a local lobsterman, browse the Saturday farmers market, or swing by the grocery store just two miles from the cottage.

Guests have access to a shared association dock on beautiful Woods Pond—perfect for paddleboarding (we provide boards and life jackets), floating on the water, or simply soaking in the peaceful views. Bring your own kayak and explore the shoreline or just relax at the water’s edge with a good book.

Back at the house, you'll find that this thoughtfully designed tiny home feels anything but tiny. The open-concept main living area includes a modern kitchen with solid surface countertops, full-sized appliances, and everything you need to cook at home. There’s also a dining space, cozy living room, and a sitting area perfect for games, reading, working or relaxing. The bedroom features a comfortable queen four-poster bed, and the loft offers a twin bed ideal for napping or quiet time. You’ll also enjoy a full bathroom, a private outdoor shower, and the convenience of a washer and dryer.

Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, unwinding by the fire pit, or cozying up inside after a day on the water, this home offers a blend of comfort, style, and rustic Maine charm. It's the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a peaceful solo retreat, or a quiet escape for two. You’ll feel tucked away in nature—but with everything you need close at hand.
