The best thing for me was its location. The basic room is exactly that. Friendly staff although reception is not open everyday. Stairs to third level room might be a challenge for some.

We had a beautiful stay. Staff was amazing. Will definitely stay here again

Was pleased with the hotel. Room was clean apart from a piece of chewing gum stuck to a lamp shade. Breakfast variety was good. We didn't use the gym there was only a few pieces of equipment. Convenient for metro station 5 minutes walk away to get to Amsterdam Central. Used bar for evening meal once. Food was good, average prices for a hotel. Limited menu. A couple of meals we asked for on the menu weren't available. We had an early checkout at 7am and put a request in the previous day to get an early breakfast which they said they would arrange but when we were checking out they had nothing prepared for us. We were very disappointed at the lack of staff communication.

Hotel spa needs renovation / repair, but the hotel service it’s great.

Great location if you want to been the south of the city - very close to the Amsterdam South train station. Overall, a nice clean hotel ideal for business travel with short stays. Only downside was that there was just 1 member of staff at the bar and took a very long time to get served. Its a shame you cannot order food to your room.
