Arranged over three floors, Temperance Cottage offers plenty of space for families or groups of friends. This quaint cottage is set in the older part of the village and has easy access to all the village amenities, as well as being only a short drive to the fabulous surfing beaches such as Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough. The property has 4 bedrooms, three located on the first floor with a family bathroom and the fourth on the second floor, a master king size room with ensuite shower room.
The well equipped kitchen area leads out onto the enclosed patio area with garden furniture and steep stone steps lead up to a large decked area with lovely views over the village and towards the burrows. The famous Tarka Trail starts just a few hundred yards away – a perfect way to take in the scenery of the Taw and Torridge estuaries either on foot or bicycle. Keen birdwatchers, walkers and naturalists will find plenty to explore in the area. Nearby NT Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal Works and Exmoor National Park are all within easy driving distance. Fishing, sailing, and horse riding, plus surf board, windsurf, wetsuit and bicycle hire are all available locally.

Below is an enclosed courtyard, a suntrap with bistro table and chairs for 2, herb garden, clothes line, hose to wash dogs, boards and wetsuits and hanging rail for wetsuits. Shed for bikes and boards. Steps to middle terrace which has raised beds with wild flowers. Steep stone steps to top deck with views over the village and onwards to the burrows and hartland point. Garden with shrubs and wild flowers. Garden furniture for 8 and tables for dining. Care should be taken on steps to the upper garden area as they are steep and uneven in places. Parking: Some roadside parking available near by, or public car park available 10 mins walk away.
