Le Moulin Du Roc

"The setting is beautiful and unique. The accomodations were very nice. Our room in particular was quaint and reflective of the natural surroundings. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff were very helpful and apologetic. We ate at the onsite restaurant. The food was (maybe not Michelin Star worthy but) very good and the service was excellent. All in I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and interesting stop in their travels."

"This is a new hotel on the edge of a light industrial zone. The property is immaculate and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is good car parking immediately outside and the room was comfortable with a useful kettle and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was good and served in the unique restaurant which offers an unforgettable experience for evening diners both in respect of the quality of the fine dining food and the ambience of the surroundings which are both surprising and special."

"The staff are very welcoming and professional. The lobby and restaurant were nice but the room was horrible. It was so small we couldn’t walk past each other. There was very little space between the end of the bed and side of the bed. The walls were like rough concrete, painted in a dark rust colour. The window was small but at least had a nice view. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet bowl had a brown stain in the bowl. The floor covering was old and decaying. The walls were scraped. The cistern wall cover was old and scraped. The toilet door was old and had clearly been mended more than once. The whole room and bathroom urgently needs to be refurbished."

"Absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded! Room was lovely and clean with a pretty view from the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America). Location was excellent. Our favourite staff was Benedict at the front desk- she was so lovely and friendly. She was a joy to see at the reception. Our other favourite staff was Sammy at the restaurant who was attentive and also hilarious. Our “4 course” dinner was divine. Spoiler alert: you get more than 4 courses. On market day, don’t plan on moving your car. We took a detour that google set for us and it was stressful. The WiFi isn’t fast, but it wasn’t really an issue for us. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t want to leave."

"We arrived to find that the entire building was being renovated by new owners who had purchased the property in October 2025. They had no knowledge of ourselves, our booking or Vrbo! Clearly we couldn’t stay there and had to find alternative accommodation. Had this been a one off situation we could have accepted it however our previous booking also through Vrbo was also not available to us as the property was being renovated. So two out of two bookings a total waste of our time. We had no prior notification from Vrbo about either property not being available despite being booked some weeks prior to arrival. Do not use this site"
