"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. "We loved our stay. The home was perfect for us and we ere able to walk everywhere. Traditional French workers cottage immaculate. It sleeps 6 but that wouldn’t b advisable as the space would.not be sufficient. The headspace going upstairs is low for those tall boys and the shower won’t hold two! It’s small but so is the space. "Accommodation is as described - clean and fresh. Pool is lovely. Comms with Wilfrid was very good - thank you Google translate. All was quiet and peaceful just 30 mins drive into Bergerac. Points for improvement- property is very new feeling with little thought to cooking practicalities- no chopping board, zero space to prepare food which is disappointing. BBQ was available apparently but never seen. Aircon essential and very good in living room but nothing - not even fans in the bedrooms. ...
