This inexpensive hotel is good value, but next time I will pay more to get more. Positives: my room and the premises were very clean, A/C was very quiet, and the floor I was on (4th) was exceptionally quiet (I think I was the only one on the floor). The front desk staff were very friendly. And the hotel is just 100 yards from the famous Kicking Horse bar. (though note: locals tell me this bar is slated to close in the near future).
Negatives: I seldom had working wifi, which meant I could not work in my room. The front desk staff acknowledged the problem but offered no solution. There is no breakfast option or restaurant. The room and hallways were perfumed, presumably to cover less pleasant odors. The location only makes sense if you have a car or enjoy long walks.
Again, the price was very good, and if price is important to you, then I do recommend this charming, aging hotel.
