While the houseboat was clean there are some serious structural issues with the property. I speak as a yatch owner, do speak from experience. Let’s start:1. The boat is taking on water from the port side, this is either saturated pontoon or hull issues as the boat slants to port side! This is not tide nor tie up issue nor weight distribution.2. With slant water in shower builds up in corner, corner floor to right of shower entrance is rotted!3. Out door light does not work, serious safety issue.4. While the floors have laminate cover there are soft spots in the floor near entrance door and forward stateroom, floor literally gives way when walking.5. Mattress covers all plastic, not conducive to sleeping well as it sounds like your sleeping on a plastic bag, there are much nicer mattress savers that could be used.6. Night stands are in poor condition and need to be refinished, simple sand, stain and varnish.7. Area rug in salon, old corner turned up, trip hazard. 8. Kitchen bar stool should be two only one, not sure where the other stool went to.7. Coffee machine did not work, sent email, never received a response.8. Side of boat on starboard side is pulled apart! It’s ashamed as this houseboat is in a great location, however it is clear that it is not being properly maintained and for the nightly rate there should be attention to detail.
