「It's basically a furnished one bedroom apartment. It's away from the highway so its very low noise. About the only complaint I have is the puny coffee maker :) Denise was very easy to work with. Check-in was a breeze. Wifi was great. While not an issue, the kitchen does not have any pots and pans. Just something to remember.」

「Keepers Cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It is tucked away in a quiet cove with an amazing view of the mountains. It is super clean, beautifully updated and Judy went above and beyond stocking everything you need. 「Very cute modern log cabin. I am very happy to say i saw a couple dusty web strands but no bugs/spiders at all! The cabin is modern as in well sealed and insulated from temperature and noise and bugs. The wood work inside is absolutely beautiful! And the air conditioning worked great. 「We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!」

In the mornings we saw deer passing through, just behind the tree line.
