"Great location in the heart Chianti. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was perfect. very comfortable bed and very quiet location. Nice terrace and pool but unfortunately the weather wasnt warm enough for us to enjoy the pool. There is a dirt road to get to the apartment but very easy to navigate so dont be worried about it. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns herzlich empfangen. Wir bekamen sehr viele gute Empfehlungen für Ausflűge und Restaurants. Der Kontakt war jederzeit schnell und unkompliziert. Richtig klasse.Wir konnten Samstags betreits spontan um 8:30 Uhr ins Haus. Das war wunderbar. Auch vorab hatte der Vermieter eine genaue Wegbeschreibung...

"The property is beautifully located in a very tranquil hamlet. At the moment the house and garden are not being maintained adequately. During our stay we had no hot water for the first few days and the internet connection that was advertised was not available. The kitchen had not been properly cleaned and there was food in the cupboards that had gone out of date long before our arrival. Sherri, the property manager, made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and organized a truffle hunt and wine tasting with her lovely local connections. She also introduced us to her favorite restaurants nearby (they were amazing) and told us where to shop. And the house itself is stunning- it should be in a movie about Tuscany. Cannot wait to go back!"

"Of all the beautiful places we stayed on our Italy trip, this was, hands down our favorite. From the moment we pulled up, we were met by staff to take our luggage and drive us to the reception area for check in. We were greeted by a friendly staff members, given a tour of the property and information we might need for our stay. The property is breathtakingly stunning. Our room was absolutely beautiful and the perfect blend of luxury and rustic, Tuscan charm. The dinner we had at one of their restaurants was incredible and the staff attentive in the best way possible- while allowing us the time to savor the delicious meal, converse and just take in all the beautiful atmosphere. We booked time together at their Spa, which we enjoyed, and my husband had a relaxing sports massage. The breakfast in the morning had the greatest variety, attentive staff and quality choices that we have ever experienced. We can’t recommend Castelló di Spaltenna enough, truly a magical place, nestled in the heart of the Chianti region."

"Clean pool, everything within easy reach, beautiful rooms, lovely staff, my only concern was the lack of a kettle in the room- this was managable but I'd say a kettle is more universal that an espresso maker. Take bug bite spray though- the bugs ate me alive due to being in the hills, but still one of the best places with everything being near. The little road train was fabulous! Its made me want to book another break with Hu! "

"I can’t even find the words. Our stay at Palagina was so wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I along with our 2 children ages 7/5 loved our apartment stay. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Beautiful views of the vineyard and Tuscan hills. The food at both venues were delicious , fresh and presentation was on point! The last night we reserved the vineyard dinner. This was so special to us. Our children loved the activities, pool and the playground. What a wonderful way to explore the Tuscan culture with our children. "

"My friend and I had such a relaxing time at Relais!! We both got amazing massages from Natalie, the staff helped me figure out how to get to Rome after, the rooms were GORGEOUS, the pool was spectacular and got great poolside drinks, and the food/wine was the best!!! Stay here for a romantic and relaxing getaway surrounded by Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!"
