"Easily THE BEST experience in Kota Kinabalu. Not just the best hotel, the best experience. Exceptionally well managed. The staff here is amazing and when you've come a long long distance (California) that is so so appreciated. There are lower cost hotels, but there is no better value than this Hyatt in KK. After 34 hours of flying, to arrive and know that I will be 100% taken care of, is invaluable. I have stayed here now five trips to Borneo, and every time, everything is perfect. Especially the cleanliness. My room is always pristine. The cleaners work super super hard to make sure of that fact. And as well the staff at the front desk is always smartly assessing and managing your stay. And at breakfast, just love the staff and chefs, amazing food, amazing service, again 100% taken care of. "I had an incredible stay at the Empire, Brunei. The hotel and grounds are stunning and I made the most of the incredible spa, the onsite cinema and the pool and beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and really made it a truly special stay. The rooms were amazing and the sea view is unmissable."
