"This place was simply fantastic. The lobby and my room were simply breathtakingly gorgeous. Some other reviews mention having had issues with rude staff but I had no such problems and was very pleased with every employee I encountered. I also took advantage of the hamman and massage and would highly recommend it. Lastly, the rooftop dining area offers a nice view and the breakfast is quite good. I would definitely stay here again."

"Riad Mazar is a gem! More like a palace or a museum than a hotel. An immaculately clean, beautiful and quiet oasis where you’ll be treated like a prince by competent and accommodating staff that speaks excellent English. They made arrangements for transportation, a guide and a spa (hammam) which were all outstanding. The breakfast was very basic, but lots of eating choices outside. "
