We would definitely stay there again if we get back to Boothbay Harbor. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. And it was right on the harbor with a beautiful view.

Loved everything about Topside - especially the amazing breakfasts! And the specialty cookies and Happy Hour in the afternoons. Will definitely be back! The only negative was no elevator - but still a 10.

From the moment we arrived we felt that The Topside was a special place…..perfect for our 1st visit to Maine. The staff was exceptional, the Inn itself was inviting, comfortable, and luxurious in an understated way. Breakfasts were relaxing and delicious. We could not have asked for a better place to be.

This is an exceptional property with excellent amenities. The rooms were clean and cozy. Service of the rooms was seamless, thorough, and unobtrusive. Breakfasts were lovely and the location was special. I can’t recommend this lodging enough.

This place was excellent! We decided to spend an extra night in Boothbay on a whim and stumbled upon Topside. We loved it so much that we'll absolutely be back. Breakfast the next morning was such a treat. It felt luxurious without being pretentious—beautifully done, warm, and incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect way to end our stay, and we can't wait to return.

This property is fabulous and it's on top of a little hill which overlooks BoothBay. Totally renovated. Super cute inside. Has a small living room with a small bar for Happy Hour . Website said breakfast included. Well, I just the a continental...nope...they had a chef which cooked ills a fabulous breakfast. Award winning! Definitely would stay here again but ask for a room in the actual house. Our room was located in adjacent to the house which was still nice but probably nicier if you get to stay in the house. There are no elevators so you need to be able to carry your luggage up a flight. Excellent B&B
