Hosts communicated via text and were very responsive and made sure we were all set for check-in as well as throughout Fantastic views on mountaintop. Rental is quite private from main house. We did everything we planned, including a down day of just relaxing on the patio and deck. A nice weeklong vacation.

If you love beautiful views with quiet seclusion, while still being close enough to drive to any major city and/or hike you’d like this is the place is perfect. There was plenty of space for my partner and I along with the needed accommodations to close off the area for my animals outside. Along with that the hosts were very pleasant throughout our entire stay. 10/10 stay, amazing bang for buck! :)

This was a very nice stay for a family of 4. The views from the house are incredible and access to various sights and destinations in the Carlsbad-San Diego area is very convenient. The kitchen-living room area was spacious enough that everyone in the family was able to spread out and not feel crammed in. The host was awesome and ensured that we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

This is a cozy casita. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook except a blender. Jay and Helen are super hosts!

Christmas Vacation

Place was beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly need. We loved having coffee on the deck every morning and even brought our dogs as well as they loved the quiet and paths to take walks on. We will be staying here every time we come to visit family! Highly recommend!
