「We had a very enjoyable week at Loon Lodge. The property is ideally situated on a nice sandy beach with beautiful sunsets. The cottage is well equipped and nicely set back from the water. Lots of kayaking, cycling, and hiking nearby. I highly recommend this cottage.」

「Many thanks to Debbi and her family for hosting us in this lovely chalet. We visited during the winter and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the chalet. I thought that I would miss having access to an oven but it turned out that the stove top and toaster oven met our needs. A walk to the Gerber beach and view of the frozen Golden Lake was lovely. Thanks again.」

「The owner is EXTREMELY responsive, which is a huge positive as apposed to other cottage owners. The property is located steps (probably not more than 5) from the water. Amazing sunrise and sun set. The cottage is equipped with everything as specified in the ad. It is a lot more spacious than photos show. There are groceries near by, cell service and wifi signal is great. I would definitely re-book when it’s hotter outside as the lake was frozen for winter.」

「Stayed with my boyfriend for 5 nights and our stay was absolutely perfect! Everything about the property was gorgeous, the owners were great and prompt with replying. Close to town, which had a ton of stores to choose from. Will definitely be booking again next time we’re in the area!」

「This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. 「Location was amazing, right on the water. We were able to kayak and SUP our entire stay. Janice was an amazing host. She shared so much of her local knowledge that we experienced things we may have missed had she not told us. Drive from Toronto is very easy. Hoping to stay there again.」
