Nice view and overall stay Could have a few more utilites in ketcher, but still very good

We had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Marseille. The hotel's location is both practical and spectacular, offering breathtaking views over the Old Port and the Mediterranean while being just a short walk from the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, quiet, and extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast, which offered an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality products in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbor. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional customer service. Every member of the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. A fantastic hotel that combines stunning views, outstanding comfort, an excellent breakfast, and first-class hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

Lovely hotel - we had a great time

This charming small hotel was a great base from which to visit Aix and all of Provence. It is a short walk to the historic district and the informative and helpful tourist information center. The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgable — when we wanted a special tour on short notice, they arranged for a driver/guide with no fuss. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet and cool (we were there in the middle of heatwave, and the room was a great place to recover from the heat). In sum: the hotel was everything we needed to enjoy our visit to Provence.

It is very bad experience! The check in time start at 11 am, we arrived 14:30, then nobody in reception and the note on the door said close until 15:30, we wait until 15:30, still nobody there! I called and the one answering the phone said to me to send someone, but no one arrived until 16:30 if I remember right. When we checked in, the bed for child was not made ready, we need to make it by ourselves. No towels for child, no extra toilet paper except half on the rack, I did need to go and asked it for! And no cafe or tea in the apartment. The pool closed at 19:00 so no one can get any relaxing enjoyable time in the evening either and not open until 10 am! That is not all! Early in the morning knocked the door and told me the check out time is ten o’clock in the morning and we bedded to leave! Most of the apartments in this place were empty, almost no one! But still not willing to give us some times to enjoy the breakfast and relaxing! Really not good! And it is not a really enjoyable place for family! And the location, is outside of a small town, beaches are not so clean, very few terrible bar or restaurants, not clean either. we were not able to enjoy to stay there either. The rate for the apartment is high for such locations and no services!
