The picturesque nature of the island of Funen invites you to take long walks and cycle tours. Small paths lead you through idyllic landscapes, past charming villages, old castles and manor houses. You can discover traces of the Vikings on your tours. North Funen has the only dunes on the island and the largest heathland area, ideal for nature lovers. Further to the north-east is the Hindsholm peninsula, a landscape shaped by the Ice Age with islands, headlands and a rich flora and fauna. The shallow bays attract numerous bird species. From the northernmost point of the Fyns Hoved nature reserve, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and the coastline.
