「The management of one refregerator shared by 12 rooms is a problem. We couldn't find the space to put our stuff in. They allow guests to leave leftovers and we found things with a tag of two days prior. We had to discard withered vegy bits to make room. They seem to lack a sense of hygene a little. 「Skid proof mat and bar handles for bath and shower are needed as we felt a bit insecure. Also, cups/glasses could be available. TV service was minimal but we didn't stay to watch TV, though a local channel for news could have been nice. The cottage is perfect and well-maintained -- the views from the main bedroom, kitchen, and deck can't be beat. We were greeted on our first morning by a bald eagle in the backyard and thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Looking forward to coming back again.」

We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! 「We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house at the end of Water Street. It is ideally suited for viewing of the Old Sow turbulence. I don't think there could be a better viewpoint from the American side. There are at least three lighthouses which can be seen from the house, and both the rising and setting of the sun. And then there's the Bald Eagle which likes to sit on Dog Island and think about life for hours every day.」
