The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in a charming vacation house. Everything was as advertised. The host, was very supportive when one of us fell ill and needed a doctor. The house is situated on a nice estate with several old building and renovations are on going. But we never experiencend any nuisance from the construction. There are some nice walking options from the house and shops are 15 minutes drive away. We would definitely come back again. "

We got a very warm welcome from the owners, misses Wiese drove us around the beautiful premises in a golf car, accompanied by their sweet dog Argos. "The hotel was absolutely lovely and even with a late arrival they were very pleasant and helpful, even with my awful German language skills! The room was cozy and comfortable. I will also add they had one of the best breakfasts I've yet seen at any hotel. Very extensive with meats and cheeses and patries and all of them were fresh and not store bought. I'll also add the hotel was an easy 15 minute walk through nice residential neighborhoods from the train station. Also it was a similarly pleasant 20 minute walk to the Panzermuseum."
