"Look, let's be up-front right away...this is a Motel, and as such doesn't have all the conveniences of a Hotel. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they do have lots of amenities on the property such as a washer and dryer for those of us needing that, there's an included (but really limited) breakfast, and they gave me some rags to wipe off my motorcycle when I was done with my ride. The drain in the bathtub didn't drain, and the floors squeak (don't ALL Motel floors squeak?), and the "no smoking" room smelled like smoke that they attempted to cover up with that truly weird smelling substance (you know what I'm talking about). Overall, however, a good value, and I'd stay here again if I ever get back to the area...they do the best they can with what they have. Conveniently located on one of the main streets through town."

"We stayed in a cabin and our oldest daughter and her family stayed in their RV in the adjacent park. That was very convenient. The cabin was very nice and clean. The housekeeping staff kept us well supplied with towels every day for our one-week stay. There is a paved walking path from the village to the shops, which are attractive. The cabin village office staff were friendly and helpful. I bought an excellent walking stick from them. "

"I make sure to always stay at Kandahar once a year for a trip to Whitefish and Glacier Park. Incredible Jacuzzi and the steam room is one of the best! Great rooms, great beds, and quick access to the top of the Mountain."
