"It was a newly renovated Dar style riad (no garden in the courtyard), but the mosaic details were amazing. In keeping with the Chafchaouen style, the whole riad was covered in blue-and-white mosaic, creating an ethereal experience. It is located within easy walking distance of all the tourist spots. The hosts were extremely helpful and made sure we had a nice stay. "

"I had a mechanical failure of my airplane from JFK airport and my flight was cancelled so I could not make it even into the city. I emailed the property and even asked Expedia the third party from which I booked through to contact the property to make a an exception and not charge me. The insurance for cancellation is for some terrible emergency or illness with proof which wouldn’t even cover flight cancellation. I was disappointed that the hotel staff or leadership/managment does not care about the travelers situation. So buyer beware. I really wanted to be a this beautiful city and property. But the situation was not within my control and I lost the money. Bottom line is not the money lost, but lack of care and hospitality for your fellow human guest who would have potentially come back and stayed another time."
