EASY WINTER ACCESS!! Enjoy this cozy cabin with two master suites, a screened porch overlooking the tranquil sounds of rushing waters. Relax by the outside fireplace as nature surrounds you or sit by the creek side firepit as you roast marshmallows. Seasonal mountain views combined with rushing waters draws you outside as stress washes away. Inside, smell the coffee percolating at your own coffee bar or just spend the day wrapped in luxury bedding. Feeling adventurous, spend the day on the nearby lake fishing or kayaking or take a hike on the trail that runs right by the cabin. Twelve wineries nearby as well as many restaurants to satisfy your taste buds. Conveniently located halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, you will have plenty to do. Sipping your favorite beverage with your friends or family by the fire immersed in the sounds of rushing waters may all you ever need. Easily accessible for any car or truck with paved roads.

Such a beautiful place, spent a lot of time in the treehouse listening to the rain, enjoying the fresh air. The cabin was super clean, the coffee bar was such a nice touch and the beds were super comfortable! Will return to the Blissful Bear!

Wonderful stay!

Cabin was clean with extra touches of hospitality and easy communication with host. We weren't able to enjoy the tree house much due to recent pollen season and lights were not working in that area during the evening, but nonetheless we had a great stay and would consider another stay in the future!

Lovely Cabin

We enjoyed our stay; the cabin was lovely and well stocked. Loved the outside fireplace, could have stayed out there all day. Will definitely book this cabin when I can stay longer.

Blissful Getaway

The Blissful Bear is full of modernized log cabin charm and provided the peaceful calm we were seeking. The treehouse fireplace and the screened in porch were perfect for enjoying the soothing sounds of the rushing creek, the variety of birds, and a rainstorm. The owners have thought of every last detail to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely planning to stay here again!

Incredible Getaway

Our stay at The Blissful Bear was one of the Top 5 vacation experiences we have ever had. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and our stay was filled with great memories. Edward and his wife have truly provided a beautiful “Home Away From Home” for someone looking for a peaceful oasis in the North Georgia mountains.

Immaculate ! Thoughtfully prepared providing every detsol and more. Two wood burning fireplaces made for wonderful evenings. A coffee bar stocked with coffees, hot chocolate. Teas, coffee flavorings,and acsmores kit… every detail Great Communication and fantastic hosts. I could go on for pages. MY WIFE AND I WILL BE BACK!

Blissful Bear Blissful Honeymoon

As very active, well traveled 60 year olds wanting to "check out" and relax, this was so perfect! Coffee on the screened in porch and by the fireside in the tree house throughout the day was perfect. The soothing sounds of the creek and easy hike from the property to the lake were fun. Walking in the sparsely populated neighborhood yielded beautiful woods and some mountain views. Lots of nearby towns to explore - including the Big Food museum for bragging rights to grand kids. We hope to go back! (Linens, towels, kitchen, etc. were nice.)

Snowed in!

It snowed…in Ga…the weekend we stayed. But it was perfect!! The owner himself was in constant contact with us to make sure we felt safe and was genuinely concerned about our safety above everything else. This place was absolutely perfect! The cabin is gorgeous, very well maintained, very clean, and I can’t recommend it enough! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful and Relaxing

The Blissful Bear cabin was in a great location near Blue Ridge and a host of small towns with great dining, national parks with hiking, creeks and wildlife. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace every single day and the ability to sit outside and watch the creek flow by. The cabin inside was comfortable, well stocked, and had nearly everything we needed. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful during my first VRBO rental. We typically do not repeat trips so that we can explore new areas, but we will 100% stay at The Blissful Bear cabin again.

Great place to stay!!

This cabin has everything you need!! Just pack your clothes & some food & you will be set. This cabin is perfect for 2 couples. We spent most of our time out at the treehouse. The owner was very nice and very easy to deal with. I can’t wait to plan our next trip.

Perfect weekend getaway

The Blissful Bear is the perfect place to stay whether youre looking for a weekend getaway or longer. Perfectly situated between Elijay and Blue Ridge there is always something to explore. My wife and I loved the s'mores welcome gift, the fall decor, and quiet sounds of the creek. Hiking was easy to get to because the cabin was located right off the main roads. We also enjoyed a paved, easy access to the cabin. We will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful Place

Owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. From family games to full coffee bar and smores. We took advantage of all the amenities and recommendations. Perfect Getaway

Peaceful getaway

Five star accommodations, very well stocked with all the essentials. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The tree house was a great place to have morning coffee and spend the evening. Cabin was very clean and kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Worth it

Its always great to stay at a property where the owner goes above and beyond to make it worth your while. We use VRBO a lot for travel baseball and this is one of our favorites! The bed were very comfortable and the owner was very friendly. 10/10 and will go back if we have the opportunity!

Best Cabin

We loved our stay at the Blissful Bear cabin. This cabin was cozy and had lovely touches throughout. From the coffee bar to the tree house area and welcome bag with s'more fixings. We enjoyed evening walks to the lake with our dogs on the trail in the back of the cabin. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Have already recommended this place to friends and hope to visit again soon.

Heaven in Cherry Log

It was the best little spot. From the coziness of the cabin to the sounds and views in the treehouse. This property is perfect for resetting your soul in this crazy world we live in. It was the perfect get away. We will definitely be back!!
