Away for a few days

The property was beautifully decorated; the parking was difficult; the televisions are dated and only cable was available and no streaming was available; the liking of the nonstick surfaces on the pots and pans made them unusable. I don’t want nonstick surface flaking into the food that I’m cooking. The pots and pans, and dishes could be updated. The sheets don’t stay on the bed very well because of the pillow top that is on there. We enjoyed visiting surrounding cities and Blue Ridge or some shopping and dining.

Over priced

This Cabin was nice and well equipped. However the check in was a nightmare. I was never sent a code to get into the house. I had to wait outside and pray for a cellphone signal that kept going in and out. Thankfully the local lady picked up the phone on the 3rd try. The bugs were swarming the door as I tried to enter. Way over priced with all the fees. I will only book with local companies from now on.

Family Time

Upon arrival property was beautiful. Not the secluded site we had hoped for as neighbors are close. During our week stay it was great never seen but a couple of the neighbors. Home was beautiful, roomy and cosey. Plenty of guilts and kitchen necessities except a Large pitcher, as our family is sweet tea drinkers. My only problem is the cleanliness. Too bathroom had to be fully cleaned before we could use it. All the dishes was put up with food on them so they had to be washed beforehand. Was just a little disappointed in the cleanliness with all the Covid issues going on so before we could enjoy our vacation we had to go through whole house and clean to feel comfortable. Other than that the cabin is a very nice little cabin. One more recommendation, the main floor bedroom has the shared bathroom without a door that gives you privacy to get to the bedroom after showers.

Nice cabin terrible mgmt

Huge problem trying to check in. I called every number I could find for several days to try and find local person to check in with. I was transferred around to no fewer than 3 diff agencies responsible for property and got a different story from each. I was told I must scan in my drivers license front and back and my credit card. I said why don't I just send you all my possessions to make it easier to steal my life! No way I am doing digital scans of critical personal info. I asked to present my ID in person with credit card I used to secure property. Was told over and over no one local. I finally persisted and eventually discovered a very nice local agency who had no issues with me showing in person. I did make it Thur afternoon with one minute to spare before they closed thanks to Atl traffic. Nothing like high blood pressure to start off the vaca! Cabin is adorable but I never got the fireplace to work which killed the ambiance of staying in the mtns. There was also a burn ban so no outdoor pit fires allowed either. No one’s fault there except Mother Nature. If this is policy it should be noted BEFORE you pay a non refundable amount not some out of the blue text with a link from an unknown number asking for this info. Who would do that?

Just as beautiful and cozy as the pictures!

Southern Living Cottage is a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch at night with the string lights and the small side porch with the swing. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I had the basement room, which was a bit chilly that first night. But, I found the small heater in the closet the next day and I was toasty warm through the nights. The home is a few minutes from town, but very quiet at night. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away in the mountains of Blue Ridge, GA. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fall Break

Cabin was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the private area downstairs. We went with other family members so downstairs was perfect for us. Had a little problem with code getting in and communicating with property manager but once we got entry code instructions we had no problems. Mini vacation was great and we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Trip

Great Cabin, Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay - this cabin is SO beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and immaculate. Close and convenient to Blue Ridge and Ellijay as well as several really great hiking locations. Perfect place !

Comfortable and minutes from downtown

We found the cabin well kept, clean and very comfortable for six. The screened in patio is perfect for lounging, socializing or enjoying your morning coffee. We couldn’t ask for better location just minutes from downtown.

Terrific!

We had a great time, home was very charming and close to downtown Blue Ridge. Too cold to enjoy the 2 decks, but looked great. No complaints, but 1 suggestion, a hair dryer would be nice as bulky to pack. Hope to visit again!

Perfect getaway!

This is such a cute, quaint property. I took my daughter and a few of her friends for her 11th birthday. They had so much fun playing and exploring. It was close to town, grocery store, and not far from Christmas lights in Hiawassee (40 min drive). The beds slept good. The kitchen was equipped with enough for basic cooking . The porches were perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings. Just a great, peaceful place to get away for a few days

Great location for convenience and quiet getaway

The check-in process is “old school” so we had to go to property management office to pick up directions to the location and instructions even though there is a coded lock so no physical key was required. — why not just email this info to us so we didn’t have to go by the office? However, the property was not too far from the office and was a great location, providing easy access to shopping, restaurants, and hiking options. Well-maintained and comfortable setup.
