We had so much fun at the cabin. It is so cute and had everything you could possibly want or need right there. We dishes and kayaked in the pond and did s’mores. Beautiful place!! Will stay again. Owner was very responsive and very nice!
My whole family loved this cabin! We all felt comfortable and made amazing memories here. The cabin feels so homey and with all the activities to do at the cabin(kayaking, fishing, board games, ect) we wished could have stayed longer. The host was so sweet and accomidating we will definitely book again in the future.
We rented this for a quick getaway for a birthday celebration! Liz was so accommodating even down to leaving s’mores items and a birthday note for me on the table! My kids loved the pond, kayaks, and bunkbeds. The kitchen area was so cute and the it felt so well taken care of and private that we definitely felt like we had stepped away into a little cabin oasis. We will definitely be back!
We stayed here over 4th of July weekend and it was a perfect family getaway. The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. I was impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was and having the grill was great. Beds were very comfy and we also had fun with the foosball table, board games, and dvd collection! We loved the outdoor area- sitting around the firepit making smores with all the string lights on was so nice. My daughter loved having her first try fishing in the pond and was very excited to catch (and release) 5 fish! Would highly recommend staying at Hidden Hollow!
Great property, great location, and great hosts! Perfect getaway up in the mountains!!
Wow, where do I start? Pictures are accurate in the listing and the property does not disappoint!! Well renovated with very thoughtful touches, this rental has a high end feel with some hotel like touches. Great fixtures, bathrooms are well done, kitchen has plenty of space and well stocked, basement is great, nice and cool down there with an awesome gaming/movie area. Property is well maintained with party lights around the fire pit and solar lights around the pond. The pond is full of little sunfish and bluegill willing to eat a worm or peice of bread on a hook. Use #6 aberdeen style hooks, small split shot, and small bobber. Did not catch or see any other fish like bass or catfish, but lots of fun seeing how many panfish we could catch. We saw deer, hummingbirds, hawks, great blue herons, woodpeckers all on the property while we were there. Some things that folks might find helpful. There is a spiral staircase that leads to the basement. The staircase is cool and funky, but it is a little tight. There are some really easy stairs leading down to the basement patio if you don't want to take the spiral staircase, we thought it was great though. This property is great for bringing a couple of kids along. Super nice area to play games and watch movies in the basement along with a third bedroom down there that is nice. There is a bedroom on the main level with a well put together bunk bed with ladder. Super close to a lot of things in Blue Ridge area, love it!
