"I would not recommend staying at this hotel. My partner and I stayed here from Friday May 22, 2026 to Monday May 25, 2026. When checking in, we were hit with $50/day incidental fee. It would have been nice to know this before booking the room and had it displayed on the website. Next problem: went into the room, which was quite small. A/C was extremely loud, even on the regular fan speed. I couldn't even hear the tv at full max because of the A/C. I felt there wasn't a need to complain about this because when we were checking in, another couple wanted to move from their room because of the loud A/C so I figured all of the rooms had loud A/C so there was no need to move rooms. Day 2, 3rd complaint: breakfast was horrible. No meat! Protein options were only scrambled eggs & hard boiled eggs. A lot of bread though: biscuits, bagels, toast and a machine to make pancakes but was confusing because a lot of guests had to ask the front desk to use it. And the main complaint I have was our room was NEVER cleaned during this 3 night stay. Saturday morning I'll give a pass because we had the Do Not Disturb sign up until after 11am. But the next morning it was not cleaned, bed not made, no new towels & we had to go downstairs to get the towels even after calling for towels to come up but was never received. I was told the reason was they were short-staffed and only focused on people that were checking out."

"I have been a frequent traveler since 2013 and have stayed at many Best Western properties over the years. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had. The online pictures are extremely misleading regarding the “waterfront/beach” property, pool area, and surrounding grounds. There is essentially no beach as portrayed in the listing photos. The most concerning part of our brief stay was the bathroom condition. While taking a shower, I looked up at the ceiling area and noticed what appeared to be BLACK MOLD above the shower. That immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and safety. I contacted Expedia to request cancellation of the reservation. Expedia asked whether we had spoken with the hotel directly, but since the reservation was booked through Expedia, there were no alternative rooms or “upgrades” available to resolve the issue. Overall, this property did not meet expectations, and the condition of the room made us uncomfortable enough that we chose not to stay."

"The grounds were filthy and unkept. There were cigarette butts everywhere and trash scattered about the grounds. The parking lot had leaves and limbs covering the parking lot in areas. It appears that the parking lot has not been blown off since the fall. I was concerned about walking my dog around the grounds. Also, there were no bags for the dog waste available. The door to my room was not sealed as there was a half inch crack letting in light and air near the bottom. I also found a couple of cockroaches in the room."

"The staff at the front desk was NOT friendly or accommodating but the cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. There were two laundry rooms in my building and BOTH were out of service. We had to walk two buildings over. We had the give view suite so we had a lotWe stayed 4 nights and the suite with kitchen. The first few nights seemed fine but we saw small roaches the 3rd night - but they did send someone to spray immediately. What saved the entire trip was the amazing view and literally steps to the beach."

"This place is amazing. When you step foot in the front door you are welcomed by the desk employee. She explains all they have to offer and how to get to your room. The room is spacious and so clean. The pool is clean and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious! Definitely would recommend this hotel!"

"I was disappointed as I was looking for a resort experience but was underwhelmed. Our first night we were excited to eat at the onsight restaurant. No joke, everthing I tried to order was "not available." 6 tries in and i chose a ceasar salad that was mediocre. There was no pool side drinks unless you walked over to the bar. The bar primarily had tequila. The waterfall bar was never open. The hot tub was so strongly chlorinated that we couldn't stay in long. There were people playing their own music over top of the pool area music. Towels were only available in one area during limited times. There were 2 food trucks but only 1 was open during the day. There were no towels for use at the beach despite this being a beachside hotel. The room ac was cool but super noisy. The walls are paper thin and I learned way too much about how much one person hates their child and the other guests morning vomiting routine. The bathroom itself is very small. The location to the construction makes it very difficult to get back to the resort if you leave. It took us 45 min to 1.5 miles. We left more than we planned to due to the lack of food choices."
