Rooms are not well lit and need more lighting. Bathroom ought to have more hook to hang clothes or towels. For a 4* hotel I expected a better shower and more toiletries. There was no safe in the room. The TV should be a smart TV with YouTube or other app for entertainment given that there are no other channels apart from terrestrial tv channels. Car parking should be included in the booking and not payable separately. Hotel was good enough to give us a rollaway bed at short notice.

Beautifully refurbished classic building very convenient to Cardiff but felt like a relaxing retreat away. Wonderful breakfast. Very friendly staff. Loved it! Highly recommend it.
