"The hotel is very nice overall — clean, comfortable, and with a pleasant atmosphere, though it does feel a bit dated in terms of decor and facilities. The room was tidy, and the bed was fine, but the pillows were quite old and not very comfortable. They did offer other pillow options, but only for an additional fee of €3, which felt a bit unnecessary.
Breakfast was very good in terms of quality, but somewhat limited for vegetarians. Some items commonly included in hotel breakfasts (like plant-based alternatives or hot vegetarian options) were only available for an extra charge — up to €11.
My main disappointment was the location. The hotel is quite far from any kind of public transportation. If you plan to go anywhere, you’ll most likely need to take a taxi, which adds up quickly and makes the stay less convenient."
"First time staying in Verona and couldn’t have picked a better property. Very clean and well maintained . Large unit with large shower which is not normal in Italy. "I find it hard to believe that this thoroughly outdated and profoundly depressing property has such a high overall rating on this website. The apartment we were allocated was nothing like the pictures. Without exaggeration everything looked like it was from the 70s. We didn’t have any hot water for the duration of our stay. We reported this to two different staff members who couldn’t have been less interested in this. Rather, our reporting of the issue seemed to be treated as an inconvenience.
Poor location in a not particularly nice part of town. Inconvenient access to the old town. Very overpriced for what it is; it’s clearly capitalising on Verona not being equipped for the amount of tourism it attracts. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your time in Verona! "
