We were upgraded on our arrival which was lovely, the suite was spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was fantastic although our first morning we weren't told where the buffet section was and was seated so we couldn't see it. We did work it out for ourselves though. The second morning the waitress explained the breakfast system. The staff were all very helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely environment

Overall our stay was fine. The staff were friendly enough and the hotel itself was sufficient for our stay.
Pros - Really yummy breakfast was included every day, the location was close to sites, restaurants, and the waterbus/vaporetto dock, and there is a garden terrace space within the hotel.
Cons - The room was clean enough but not well maintained from years of use (and this was obvious with broken decor, missing bathrooms tiles, styrofoam attached to the wall) and the walls are PAPER thin and could hear everything (between neighboring rooms, hallways with staff cleaning or prepping breakfast, and even people making noise or walking outside).

"It’s nothing as it looks like in the photos. The place is probably 50-60 years old never refurbished or renovated. Everything is so old and stinky. The breakfast was awful. Entire hotel and rooms have a annoying mouldy smell. Thank God it was only one night stay there."
