Long Lake Dome Home- Get Up North Retreats

Soak up the beauty of Long Lake in the woods of Bigfork, MN in this unique Geodesic Dome Home. Enjoy 1 bedroom with king bed, open sleeping loft with two full beds, futon in the main room and full bath. Property is located on a hilltop boasting a west facing lake view with over 300` of lake front and old growth redpines towering over the cabin. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace on cooler nights or savor your morning coffee on the private deck or screened porch.

Steps to the sleeping loft are pretty steep, please watch your step!

The Entire Cabin and amenities are included. The Garages and sheds are not available for the use of our guests with the exception of the firewood storage.

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

Please let me know if there is anything that will make your stay better. It is my goal that this space be an escape and retreat for you however I am available at all times for emergencies and during standard hours to answer and resolve any non-emergency issues.

It is extremely helpful to have good contact information available for a member of your party in the event I need to contact you to resolve issues or provide information. If we need to stop by for any reason I will do my best to contact you ahead of time but we will keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

Long Lake Dome Home is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Please drive slowly take care with the road that runs through our neighbors` properties in several locations.

Located on the shore of Long Lake, 30 minutes from Bigfork. The perfect northern Minnesota destination.

Please Note that East Long Lake Road runs through our neighbors` properties. We ask that our guests keep this in mind, travel slowly on the road and be extremly respectful of our neighbors and their property. Any damage to the road or excessive speeds will result in additional fees.

Escape from it all - Cell Service can be patchy but the WIFI is excellent so you can stay as connected as you choose!

We are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs. We are not able to accommodate cats.

Stairs to the sleeping loft are fairly steep, we have traction strips and a hand rail but this still may be challenging for some guests.

A security camera monitors the front yard and entrance for the safety and security of our guests.

Shorter or longer stay options sometimes available upon request, cleansing fees will be adjusted accordingly. Contact us for more information!
Please be sure to review all house rules when booking! Home is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am)
Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up
No parties or events
No Illegal Substances
Please remove shoes when you enter the house and leave on rug in closet or just inside front door
Utilize the dryer for wet/damp clothing and towels. Do not leave these items on any floors or on any of the furniture
Please return all furnishings to their original positions
Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed.
No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood.
Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring and no more than five feet tall.
We love having your entire group stay. Please be be aware of safety around the lake as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks and in closets
Any game or fish cleaning must be done outdoors, fish cleaning table is provided, please thoroughly clean up the table after each use - violations will result in a $200 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs
Please DO NOT flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet not even flushable items
No cooking oil down any drains
No Fireworks
PET RULE: We are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs . We are sorry but we can NOT accommodate cats Pet fee is $50 per dog per stay.
Pet Rules: Please be sure that your pet has been added to your reservation and the fee collected Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Place pet refuse in a bag and place the bag in the outdoor trash receptacle. Do not place loose stools in any trash receptacles. Additional fees will be assessed if this rule is violated
Pet Rules: Dogs must be leashed when outdoors
Pet Rules: NO dogs on the furniture, clean up of pet hair from pet hair will result in extra fees

No Smoking of any kind indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please dispose of butts responsibly and in an outdoor receptacle, do not bring inside the house (if debris is found, and cleaned up by our crew, guest will be charged accordingly)
SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK AND NO DIVING PLEASE!
Pet Rule: Please plan to kennel your dogs if they are left alone in the house
Please communicate any issues or damages to Maria immediately. Good, quick communication gives us the chance to replace and repair things quickly and avoid emergency service calls. This keeps costs low and helps us avoid damage claims whenever possible.
