「It was a definite step back in time. The location was perfect, right downtown so walking distance. The breakfasts were fantastic and abundant. I very much enjoyed my stay.」
「The vegan restaurant is interesting. Breakfast included with the room. Forces clientele to have an open mind to consider a switch to a vegan diet for health, sustainability and to not contribute to cruelty for our non human living creatures. Food was good and certainly gives pause and “food” for thought.」
「We had such a wonderful time here. The Briar Rose room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the fireplace, balcony views and fresh breakfast brought to our room in the morning. Seeing the llamas and feeding the chickens were fun additions. The service was fantastic as well. Finally, we really enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant, Terra. This was an easy 10/10 and we will absolutely stay there again.」

「This is a gorgeous property, overlooking one of the most scenic spots along the Mendocino coast. The rooms are cozy and romantic, and our sunset room had the most incredible deck with a view over the ocean.
They went above and beyond in a busy holiday weekend, we had to split the stay over 2 different rooms since there was no availability of the same room for all days at time of booking; however once on the property they managed to let us stay in the same room without having to check out and...
