"This was the perfect spot to see the sights of Normandy! The house was immaculate. The view was incredible! Access to the sites of Normandy was so close. We rode everyday, enjoying the beauty of small villages and the beautiful fields. We will long remember this trip. For American travelers, bring something to use to make ice if you visit any time other than summer. They don’t sell ice and there were no ice trays."

"Rooms in desperate need of updating. Furniture poor, no comfortable seating. Poor decorative state, inside and out. Rooms seriously let the whole site down. Check in at 5pm, on site shop closed sf 5.30!! Be very aware of your own cleaning check list"

"The room was amazing! The host has a ton of knowledge on the local food and shops, and even makes an amazing breakfast, too! The house is centrally located in a perfect spot for anyone wanting to see D-Day history. I hope to be back in Normandy again, and when I do, this is where I’ll stay! "

"We really enjoyed our stay and Valerie and Philipe were very helpful indeed. The property is old and quirky but spacious and comfortable. Also it’s well equipped. There was nothing but French tv available and the only toilet is downstairs whilst the bedrooms are upstairs. It’s a bit remote but that is part of its charm. Beautiful countryside and peace and quiet. Very near to the fabulous beaches in the area too. All in all, very enjoyable. "

"We spent 2 weeks at this beautifully renovated blacksmith barn. Laurence was a wonderful host and it was easy to communicate with her, she responded to all our requests promptly. There is a completely fenced in yard which was great for our 3 dogs. We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back! "

"The house was very clean,full of character and well laid out with everything you could need for a stay including a loverly courtyard with a table and chairs. Valerie and Philippe were super hosts with nothing being too much trouble....on arrival Valerie was on hand to show us the house and the local info...both super friendly.The house is in just an amazing location,rural and quiet but within a short distance from alot of the beaches and ww2 sites as well as Bayeux etc etc.Total gem.....Loved our stay and booked again acouple of days after we got home.....says it all."
