First of all the management company didn’t provide any check in information. On our drive up, I called the office and the woman was very curt. She told me to come to the unit where we would be staying and then hung up on me. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm after a very long car ride. The unit is in the back corner so my family had to trudge through the snow with our luggage. We went to the unit as the manager had instructed and no one was there. I called repeatedly and finally got through to the same woman who told us to go to the office then hung up. The office is one of the units and it has a tiny sign out front, very hard to see, especially in a snow storm. After looking for the office, I had to call the woman again and ask her what unit # it was. Needless to say we were very frustrated by the time we showed up at the office and finally got the keys. Then there was the problem of the unit. It’s very dirty, couches, bed spreads, pillows seem to never have been cleaned. The microwave and dishes had old food caked on them, disgusting! Then fireplace wouldn’t turn off filling the unit with gas. We worried about running the gas fireplace all night, we worried about the safety of our kids. I sent messages and called the office repeatedly before someone finally came to fix it. It was an awful experience, made worse by a very inept management company. We will never stay with this company again!
