"We just came back from an amazingly relaxing few days in Philippe's little gem. The host is super nice and friendly, very patient with my limited french skills. The retreat is one of a kind. It is as quiet as it gets. The only sound one hears are the birds and the wind in the trees. We had never experienced anything like that and will be back for sure. It was the most relaxing vacation! "It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. The shower wasn’t great but otherwise all good. The tv wasn’t plugged in for some reason and it took two of us to plug it in as it was very awkward. We had breakfast and it was decent, the lady working it was very nice. The actual village is absolutely stunning, very picturesque. All in all, a good stay"

"When we walked in the bed was unmade.. which made me question if it was changed at all after previous guests.. when we moved bed cover there was someone’s t-shirt… NO towels at all, no fridge/coffee/microwave (just be aware) and AC made a huge puddle on the floor only after several hours running. Thank you for the t-shirt, previous owner. What we will wake up to in the morning I wonder."
