Une nuit dans ce très beau lieu, un jardin magnifique, le beau temps ne s'étant pas invité, nous n avaons pu profiter de la piscine. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour nous faire passer un agréable séjour. Je recommande.

Dear guest, we are sorry to hear that your experience has not fit your requirement. Regarding your comment and grade which is quite hard, it is important to inform our futur guest about the situation. When you book the room through expedia, you have not informed the hotel that you have mibility issues which could have been done easily by writting a comment while you booked and we will have informed you that the room you booked is on the 1st floor. Once you arrive at the hotel, we offer you to change of hotel with no charges from us which you refused. We have offered you the breakfast on check out whereas we were not responsible of the situation. Best regards

Très bel établissement avec un personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Toutefois, Ménage salle de bain à améliorer ( joints carreaux en bas de la douche et poussière tablette ) et rangement de l’espace piscine serait apprécié ( Dès le matin, chaises longues et tables disséminées dans tous les sens sur la pelouse et certaines toiles de protection solaire à terre ) .

It was fun to stay in a castle. The breakfast was nice but not sure it was worth 13 euro. Should have booked a room downstairs as there is no elevator. However, the staff carried up and down our suitcases. Best bed ever!

Wonderful chateau
We had a wonderful stay at the chateau. Great reception and well appointed room with terrace. Had a swim in the heated pool with views of the Pyrenees. A short drive into Biarritz. Would return.

Beautiful property with relaxing atmosphere, my room is also nice with high ceiling and retro design. Staff service is excellent and I will definitely come back to stay with them again.

Very beautiful Chateau hotel, lots of antique furnishings and decor, set in lovely gardens and a very attractive modern swimming pool with comfortable loungers and friendly bar with views over the Pyrenees, wild flowers, and fields of horses. The chateau is out of town by the airport, which is very convenient at the start or end of a holiday. There is very little noise from the planes but you can hear the traffic nearby, although not see it as the grounds are lovely. It is about 20 minutes drive (or taxi) to the beaches. The chateau serves light food by the pool (salads, burgers etc) in the daytime and on Monday night there was a great BBQ by the pool. There is a smart restaurant next door - which we sadly couldn't try because we foolishly didn't realise it was a public holiday (Bastille day). There are no other restaurants nearby but normally it isn't a problem to get a taxi in.

Absolutely loved it!
Was such a beautiful Chateau. The staff were lovely, it was peaceful and relaxing, we had a fabulous time. Only thing I would say is there wasn’t a fan or aircon in our room, and it was a hot night. Also the shower isn’t fully enclosed so water gets on the floor a bit. Overall we were very happy and would definately stay again

Sehr gepflegte und stimmungsvolle Anlage,ruhig, da in einem großen Park. Am Swimmung -Pool dringt allerdings etwas von den Verkehrsgeräuschen von außen durch. Frühstück sehr gut. In die Stadt ca. 4 Km. Restaurantempfehlungen von der Rezeption.Zimmer im Haupthaus ausreichend groß, angenehm.

A memorable chateau stay!
We loved the Chateau du Claire de Lune. The grounds and the Chateau exterior are beautiful. We stayed in the hunting lodge - in a clean, modern, light and spacious room - with a large private balcony overlooking the garden. Inside the main building the lounge and games room were our disposal, both lovely rooms. The breakfasts were served in the dining room and, we felt were good value. All three public species felt special. We were warmly greeted at reception and nothing was too much trouble. All needs were responded to willingly, promptly and in a friendly manner. The pool area would be a great extra for those that stay during warm periods.

Highly recommended. A lovely quiet location but only about 10 minute drive into Biarritz. Stunning property and beautiful gardens and grounds. Woke up to the birds singing and beautiful outlook. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Well, this is not my first time in this delightful place and I may asure you, it hasn‘t been the last! This utterly beautyful Chateau with its charme and gorgeous view over the Pyrenee-Mountains will always be my favourite in Biarritz. There might be more luxurious hotels, but none so hospitable and original!
