The hotel is dated, stale, and I did not like the location. The smell coming through the windows was suffocating. I could see that the staff were making efforts to keep things clean so I appreciated that.

Rooms were small

This hotel is not as advertised on Expedia in a couple of important ways. First, it is not at the location indicated on Google Maps, but is about 100m south at the location labeled as "The Elevate Hotel." Perhaps this is due to a recent consolidation? Maybe the old location was better, because the current place doesn't merit the positive reviews on Google. Second, while the Expedia description boasts a "top rated breakfast," the breakfast was nonexistent. Due to some problem with the restaurant here they couldn't serve breakfast (or any food), so instead they transported us by taxi to another hotel 5 minutes away for breakfast, which was very inconvenient. They did not inform us of this off-site breakfast arrangement at check-in time, even though we inquired about breakfast. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable. While this hotel was very affordable, I would book somewhere else next time.

Room was fine, staff were outstanding. They really aimed to please. Travel desk was very helpful. My problem with the place is the location. I had multiple people tell me the neighborhood was not safe. I didn’t see anything nearby that I would have wanted to walk to anyway. So I ate meals at the hotel. The food was not to my liking.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and a variety to choose from at the buffet. Service of staff was great and very helpful.
