"We had a lovely week in Chalet Mon Sousou. Every morning we took the bus to the ski gondel, very convenient in front of the chalet. It is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by neighbouring houses. Although the chalet has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and fully equipped, with 7 adults the house is a bit tight, but still cosy. "La qualité des services de l'agence. Le chalet est magnifique, la distribution des chambres, la configuration du chalet, le sauna, la terrasse avec brasero, le balcon, la vue. "The only issue is trying to bring luggage into the hotel. The front desk is up stairs, no elevator. However, this location is fabulous. Would certainly come again."

"Paying for cheaper hotel Villa Toscany you can still use facilities across the road sauna, swimming etc. which is great. Good location. I do struggle to find information on Expedia website that check in for Villa Toscany needs to be done in Royal plaza across the road if I knew it from begging would be more helpful."

"Sadly this hotel is disappointing in so many ways. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but through no fault of theirs, the hotel is very poorly kept, is incredibly outdated and requires more investment in time, money and management. The bathrooms were very poorly kept especially, gardens not maintained and massive bins welcome you at the entrance. Pillows are poor quality, lots of basic maintenance and lacking in characters, atmosphere and care. Please do not be attracted by the views - which are great - but the quality of the hotel is low and I would avoid, despite the views as you will be disappointed."

"As a fan of Freddie, a stay at The Freddie Mercury when in Montreux is a must. It's campy, and fun and you can't not smile in the public areas. As a rather fussy hotel guest, I had no real issues. There isn't air conditioning, but there is some air circulation. The rooms are basic, but how much time do you plan on spending in there? The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is reasonable for the price (on demand omelettes and lots of variety). It was clean enough, though there is some wear starting to show. The staff was very helpful. Most of all, the location is amazing and on the train station platform (you can hear the trains from your room if you're on that side, but it's a soft/gentle woosh every now and then). I'm so glad I stayed there. Thank you!"
