"It was our first time visiting Bethany Beach, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Having the convenience of being able to walk to stores, restaurants, and the beach made for a most pleasureable time. We also apprecieate the "quiet beach" that Bethany purports to be. A wonderful long weekend."

"Overall the house and neighborhood were nice. The cleaning is lacking. There was visible mold, spider webs and dust in multiple places inside…we’re not particularly fussy about things but it was significant. The pullout bed had debris in it. We had spiders in the beds and ants in the kitchen and on the porch. On a positive note, the proximity to the trolley was great and the house would otherwise suit our needs for our family including a bunch of kids to get together. "

"We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. The bedrooms/bathrooms/family room and downstairs layout were so perfect for our group of family friends with lots of teens! We used all the areas - including the outside carport and deck. The kitchen was really well stocked, and so were the towels/sheets etc. Caroline was a wonderful and responsive host - we didn’t have any issues, just a question or 2 and she responded immediately. We would stay here again! "

"The location was great with a very short drive to the beach. The back deck and porch were great for the whole family. The house clearly had some appliance and other home upgrades (dishwasher, refrigerator, roof, and TV's). The beds were comfortable. However the house had a musty moist stinky smell in a lot of rooms. Water spots on the ceiling. Some rooms did not seem like they have been cleaned all summer. There were bottles left under a bed, dog fur all over, dust, and spider webs in corners, etc. There were a lot of roofing nails all over the front and back yard. We were not comfortable with using the dishes or utensils due to the lack of cleanliness inside the drawers. We had to clean the washer, toaster, and some living spaces. Also, the pans seemed too old and scratched. We purchased some when we were there. It seems like the house needs a deep, thorough cleaning. It would help a lot. It did not have a pool table or working fireplace as stated in the description. The owner did reach out to ask how we were doing. The kids loved the trolley ride, which picked us up directly in front of the house. Overall we did truly enjoy our trip though."

"Our house was exactly as described in online listing. The kitchen had everything we needed. Even a crockpot! The bedrooms and bathrooms were taken care of as if you were staying in a hotel. House was very nice size. I’d highly recommend. "
