Surprisingly relaxing
Clean, good sized room. Good shower. Very quiet. Good buffet breakfast (the restaurant itself is a little dark). What I liked most was the location: it's surrounded by trees, with a park very close by, making it feel like a retreat.

There was no air conditioning in the room. The room was not cleaned everyday which resulted in the shower gel finishing. The phone in my room wasn't working which resulted in me having to walk down to reception anytime I needed something.

The hotel is not close to restaurants or other businesses. You need to drive or take a bus which runs right in front of the hotel. The room was fine--bed, bath, TV, wi-fi. The soap dispenser was difficult to squeeze to get anything out. Room was not air-conditioned.

A very nice hotel not too far from the city centre
The accommodation was excellent. All the staff, from the receptionists to the house-keeping staff, were friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were particularly noteworthy.

For my purpose of visit, the location of the hotel was convenient in terms of proximity. But for all else the location was very poor. There are no fast food less than 6 kilometres away, the nearest Dominos is nearly 4 kilometres away and they refused to deliver. There are no taxi ranks around the corner but there is uber. The guy at the desk wasn't helpful and trying to get takeaway. There are only one or two restaurants i am told is in the area but not much options. The Hotel reception is closed at night until 7am. What you save in rate you loose in travel costs and conveniences.

Kind and efficient hotel and staff
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week and a half stay. It is conveniently located and within walking distance of transit, restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and willing to help. Our room was most clean and quiet. Thank you for the nice stay.

Great Hotel in Pankow
This place is great. Kind, helpful staff that speak great English. Very clean, great price, close to the 155 bus line and M1 Tram, both only a few minutes from the main transport artries of Berlin. The only drawback was that the rooms don’t have mini-fridges. However, there is a large refrigerator in the café that guests may use. Will stay here whenever I am in Pankow.

Small and nice hotel with efficient staff
Everything was fine. But just wanted to mention that the bathroom had facilities for invalid this for me personally was not so nice with a chair for invalids and other equipment made the bathroom not so nice. however it was clean and hotel staff was very good and efficient. Nothing to complain.

We stayed here for one night prior to leaving Berlin. The hotel was immaculate and was in a quiet area. Parking was available but limited. Wifi was limited. Great hotel with a great price.

The staff were amazing they always went out of their way to help you. They greeted you every time you would pass by the front desk or just around the hotel. The room was perfect for me as a single traveler here on business. The rooms well maintained everyday. The hotel location is excellent because it is near a nature park for nice walks, jogging or bike rides in the morning or early evenings. Your in walking distances to cafes,stores, bus stops and the train.

Big Room Green Areas
Beautiful rooms but they must clean the white walls. Lot of dead insects plastered into the wall. Other than that; amazing location, great bathrooms, good working wifi, breakfast buffet option, beautiful leafy environment. Seems to be a religious hotel affiliation due to the Jesus Crosses but it did not bothered me, just letting you know.

Leisure trip to Berlin
Hotel is in a quiet street in leafy Pankow. Great if you want to be outside the city. Very little traffic noise. Spotlessly clean and modern although rather functional without much atmosphere. Seemed to be part of a larger senior citizens complex! Room was OK but rather characterless. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and good value. Bus stop right next door - buses every 10 minutes during the day to the Pankow U and S Bahn. 25 mins door to door to central Berlin. Hotel recommended some nice restaurants nearby. Small honesty bar in the reception area on the ground floor but the bar was a bit clinical. Negative points quite a basic hotel with not many facilities. No tea and coffee in the rooms.On the flight path from Tegel airport but reasonably good sound insulation. Wifi in the room was intermittent but OK in reception area.

Nice hotel and lovely location.

Nice place to not get any sleep.
This is not a hotel, it's a retreat location for religious groups.The staff, who did not speak English, was very accommodating, and the room was very pleasant (two single beds, shower, small TV, and a desk), but there is no A/C or fan and you have to sleep with the windows open to circulate air. The problem is that we heard quest conversations all night long coming up from the courtyard (we were on the 4th floor). One group decided to greet the sun and talked loudly ALL NIGHT. We had to be up at 4 AM to catch a flight and did not get any sleep. The best thing about the hotel is the area it's in. Nice suburb with the most excellent restaurant 3 blocks away, Pankoff Restaurant on Briete Strasse saved the night. Excellent meal. Other than that, the hotel that's not really a hotel was a nice place we never got any sleep at. Oh, and there is no one on staff in the evening, so if you arrive late, chances are you won't get your room.

Traveling with small children? Please read...
We didn't know this hotel was associated with the church. Not a problem for us, but we definitely felt stared at as a heavily tattooed family with a 2 year old. Staff was super nice and corteous. Value for money was excellent. Hotel does not have a huge parking lot, but we had absolutely no problem finding street parking. A little side note for families traveling with small children: The room doors have NO deadbolts! You can obviously lock the door from the inside, but if the child is tall enough he/she can open the door with the handle and go on a hotel adventure. Definitely something to keep in mind when traveling with small children. Also, in this weather (85F+) a mini fridge or something would be nice to keep some cool drinks at hand. Would book again if traveling without the kid.

Nice quiet hotel
Room was basic, however well equipped and spotless. One other point to mention is that breakfast is not served in the hotel and is in a separate building/hall next door. The hotel is also on the main approach to TXL airport, however the noise of the planes didn't wake me up!
