Cottage at Berigny

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very cosy and just as we imagined it. The ambience of the cottage reflected that it was our host's own home, rather than just a property they were renting out. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly.

We spend a lovely holiday in a great environment. Despite our basic knowledge of French the communication worked very well. Our landlords gave us a wonderful welcome. We will definitely go there again.

Viviane und Yves haben uns ihr eigenes Haus zur Verfügung gestellt, während sie mit ihrem Wohnmobil zum Segeln gefahren sind. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, und wir haben die Ruhe und den Garten sehr genossen. Das Haus lag für uns ideal, da man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Küsten in gleicher Entfernung hatte. Die einzige Anmerkung, die ich machen möchte, wäre die Ausstattung mit Dusch- und Händehandtüchern etwas zu verbessern. Diese war sehr knapp für die 9 Tage bemessen.

Een aanrader! Het verblijf voldeed aan het voor ons typisch Franse vakantiegevoel. Het compleet ingerichte ‘brocante’huis is van alle gemakken voorzien met een geweldige tuin om in te relaxen waar je alleen het geluid van de vogels hoort. Viviane en Yves-Marie zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij en nemen de tijd om je bij aankomst wegwijs in het huis te maken.

Ruim huis met veel rust

Een heerlijk rustige plek met grote tuin.

Hartelijk welkom door de eigenaren. Het huis is gedateerd en museumachtig ( voor "liefhebbers" geen probleem). Er is verder alles wat je maar nodig hebt (en zelfs 2 open haarden voor als het wat koud is). Vele bezienswaardigheden zijn binnen 30-60 min. bereikbaar.

Idyllisches Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und obwohl wir kein französisch sprechen, gab sich Viviane alle Mühe um uns das Haus zu erklären. Alles war sauber und hat funktioniert. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem gut angebunden. So konnten wir ungestört mit unseren Hunden laufen, aber auch das Meer und die Plätze im Inland schell erreichen. Wer allerdings, so wie ich, einen Hund hat, der gerne jagt, sollte Bedenken, dass der umliegendene Zaun teilweise sehr niedrig ist. Als Hundebesitzer sollte man allerdings auch seinen Hund kennen. Wir können Viviane und ihr Haus jedem nur empfehlen der Ruhe und Erholung sucht.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis is knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdens de koele avonden was het fijn de haard aan te kunnen steken. Prima bedden, vooral die in de master bedroom... Buiten is het genieten van de stilte, de tsjilpende vogeltjes en af en toe het gezellige gebalk van de ezel van de buren. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren!

Belle maison dans la Manche

Très beau séjour dans une maison bien équipée, fonctionnelle et " vraie" . Si vous êtes amateur de cheminée et soirée aux feux de bois, cet endroit est pour vous ( 2 cheminées dont une dans la cuisine). Voiture nécessaire car le premier commerce alimentaire est situé à 12 km . A proximité de Saint Lô avec un très beau marché le samedi. Je recommande cette maison pour un séjour au vert et au calme.
