It is a small but clean cottage beautifully located right across from the lovely Drake Park, in close proximity to old and charming Bend's downtown and the gorgeous pathways leading to the Old Mill District. There are improvements that need to take place that just require some attention to detail. For example: there were no coffee filters (we bought some the day after Thanksgiving), there is no water kettle (we like to make tea), only two spoons (small and medium), we like to prepare some meals for ourselves but spent 10 minutes cleaning the dirty pans (both are on the small side), there was no aluminum foil. I am light sleeper so a word of caution to fellow travelers: the bedroom window faces a busy street and the noise level is high. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this unit unless you have ear plugs. (Ironically for me, the king size mattress was great). I should have specifically asked about noise level and proximity to a road prior to booking and it is my fault that I did not. The noise level is not reflected in my overall rating score. I have also suggested to the manager, (after receiving a text asking me where I parked my car even though it was parked according to instructions) that a simple numbering of the three parking slots would eliminate confusion for guests and equally for management. Once again, the overall customer experience could improve with greater attention to detail on the part of the management company or owners.
