Wonderful house location to country store was fantastic. Kitchen is well loaded with cooking tools best I have seen. Would stay again when I visit Bend.

Family getaway

Multi generation vacation. Met up with our college kids from Oregon, family from Bend and grandparents and teens.Great layout with the 2 master suites for the older folks, no stairs needed.The sharc passeds were super handy, great aquatic facility for all ages.We biked everywhere, played tennis, the teens/older kids could walk over and get coffee ice-cream, super near the village.We were able to play golf at the sun river golf courses but very expensive.All in all a great trip but a long drive.

Both spacious and intimate

Accommodations were comfortable, living room had an intimate feel while dining area and kitchen provided easy food preparation and seating for a large group.

Golf trip

We had nine golfers. Plenty of room for all. Close to mall, with nice deck, and kitchen table that accommodated our entire group.

Close to the village

We enjoyed our weekend in this sunriver house. Easy access to the village. We spent one day skiing. Enjoyed the sharc passes.

A family reunion with 3 families. We had 3 houses on Backwoods. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back to do it again in 2 years.

Ron, best property owner for 14 years!

We’ve enjoyed #5 Backwoods for many years. It didn’t disappoint in 2024. Ron responded almost immediately after the property manager was unavailable whenever assistance was needed…house was enjoyed by every family member and guest…good WiFi also made remote work possible.

Exceptional Family Home

In addition to being well located in Sun River, this house was better supplied than any vacation spot I've stayed. Kitchen was great. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. Lots of baby equipment and things for the kids to enjoy. Clean and tidy open spaces for family to gather. Bikes were super, as was the ping pong table. Thank you, too, for the Sharc passes, etc. We had a great weekend!!

Staycation for 60th Leap Year Birthday

The house was wonderful. We had a family of four that were not able to attend due to illness but the house was very accommodating. Clean, had everything you would need in the kitchen. A personal chef came and cooked a birthday dinner. The house was very close to the village and easy access on the walking path. The Sharc passes were awesome - even though we only used them one day. There was 6-8 inches of snow 4 out of the 5 days we were there. Thank you for an amazing staycation. Would love to stay there again.

Fantastic Value

great stay, central location. there were 9 of us. clean, so many extra amenities. we especially enjoyed the garage ping pong, the bikes, and hot tub. next time we'll make use of the SHARC passes only one speck-sized complaint: would say that this house comfortably sleeps 10, not 14. i thought the 6th listed bedroom would have a door, but it's in the common area, albeit upstairs which is more private

Nice long weekend away with the family

We came to this house in Sunriver for a long weekend with our family, including my wife's parents and brother. The house worked well for the 8 of us - good bedroom configuration and comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped, but a bit lacking in counter-top space, although it has a nice big dining table. The hot tub is nice. Plenty of bathrooms and at least the shower in my room was great (not sure about the others). We enjoyed some movie nights in the big TV room upstairs. The house is a bit dated, but seemed clean overall. There is no sound-proofing at all and the HVAC system is pretty loud. Great location in Sunriver. I would come back here again.

Our second great stay here!

This was the second time our family has stayed here. There were 10 of us this time and we all enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. There were bikes for us as well as the passes for the pool which were also enjoyed. The BBQ and hot tub also came in handy. The location is excellent located right across the street from restaurants, a brewery, Starbucks, a grocery store and other retail. Communication with Ron was always timely and helpful. The only glitch we had was checking in. The information I got said it was 4:00 PM but we couldn't get in. We called a number we were given and they said check in was not until 5:00 but they did let us in. Not a big deal but something that should be straightened out. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location!

Very nice house in excellent location. It's quicker to walk across the road to the village, then to drive, it's so close. :) Love having the sharc passes! (Those are always a must.) The only complaint I would have is that we couldn't Check-in until after 5 PM. We've rented a lot of homes through the years and I don't think I've ever had one be that late to check-in. Even if it was 4 o'clock, it would have been nice to check-in a little earlier. Otherwise, a nice house! :-)

Annual family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at #5 Backwoods, Sunriver. Our family of 25 rented 3 homes about a block apart, with 8 adults and 2 children at this property. We loved the proximity to the market, Sharq, parks and playgrounds. We all gathered for evening meals at this property and appreciated how the kitchen accommodated every need. The deck was a wonderful gathering spot! Before leaving, we reserved the home again for next year - it will be our 40th annal gathering.
