「Can’t begin to describe what a great stay this is. A real experience, if you are doing the battlefields, then staying or visiting here is a must. Comfy beds, great facilities and good breakfast. Loft chapel is probably the nicest chapel or church I have ever seen mainly because of the emotion involved. Thoroughly recommend. 」

「We wish we had discovered this place years ago as we have been making this trip 2 or 3 times a year using a hotel near Lille. This charming house is so much better and the welcome from the charming Marie-Odile was lovely. So much care has gone into the preparation of the accommodation and the breakfast, largely using home-grown items, was exceptional. I am sure we shall find a reason to come here again.」

「The staff of Chez George's could not be nicer. The breakfast was so fantastic - freshly baked local breads, cheeses and yogurt. The room is efficient and tidy with a modern bathroom. The rooms are located up a narrow winding staircase so keep that in mind. There are lockers for storage. The area around the hotel is so beautiful. 」

「Dette er et av de deiligst hotel rommet jeg noen gang har bodd på, og jeg har bodd på en del forskjellige hotel. Servisen er upåklagelig, renhold og standard er fantastisk. Men det fineste er kanskje estetikken, størrelsen man får på dette stedet. 」

「Our hostess, Sophie has been excellent with local places of interest including some local restaurants. Our “villa” was very comfortable and fresh with a queen sized bed. Our stay was made very enjoyable, even the local patisserie/boulangerie were welcoming. We even bought some of Sophie’s porcelain 」

「2ème séjour à la Détente de la Lys, découverte d'une nouvelle chambre tout aussi confortable et agréable. Et le jacuzzi haut de gamme à nouveau est un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons !」

"駐車場が近隣のホテルより安かったのでこちらにしました。エアコンは外せない条件でしたが、こちらのホテルは確かにエアコンはありましたがほぼ機能しておらず、一晩中暑くてよく眠れませんでした。私の部屋だけでなく隣の部屋も同様でした。また、2階か3階（どちらか忘れてしまいました）の部屋でしたが、部屋の電気をつけると中くらいの大きさの虫が隠れるのが見え、部屋の中を歩いているアリもいました。フランスのホテルではそれくらい普通と言われるかもしれませんが、今回の旅行で宿泊した他のホテルではそんなことはありませんでした。"

"Very tatty accommodation without any aircon. Extremely hot in the room and very noisy from the train station and street noise when keeping window open despite being on 12 floor. Lots of things damaged in the room, filthy stained toilet, stains on floor, bed frame damaged. Would not recommend this place. "
