Breakfast was excellent

The front desk speaks multiple languages, and is very informative about the area around the hotel. The hotel is bright & clean, and they are the first hotel I stayed at in my time in Europe that didn't lock me out of the air conditioning setting. The spa was nice and relaxing and they make sure not too many people are there at the same time which is super nice. It was great after walking 20,000 steps in a day to sit in the turkish bath. They packed me a box breakfast the day I had to leave early to go on an excursion, and they offered one the day I went to the airport. Overall, amazing value for the price. The only complaint which isn't on them is that there are not many restaurant options immediately next to the hotel - just one. However, I spent most of my time in the city center so that was fine.

The hotel is very basic, but it has the essentials you need for a trip. There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom, and I had to keep the AC on all day and night because of it. The first room I checked into was 113, but the window was broken. They moved me to room 111, which was bigger, and I appreciated that. The front desk staff were great,there was a lovely young lady and a helpful gentleman named Mahen. They were both very kind and accommodating. One more thing to mention is the shower, the hot water only lasts about 10 minutes, so you have to be quick. Other than that, everything else was fine. I loved the location and Florence overall. Very nice hotel,cosy and quiet, in an historical building and close to all the attractionsJust one minute from Ponte Vecchio . There are plenty of options for parking and a great choice of restaurants. Plus the roof top restaurant is excellent
