It’s a lovely building and well maintained and the lady on reception and serving dinner was just so friendly and welcoming. She served us cheese, bread and meats and we loved it. However, we probably wouldn't choose to stay here again due to the stairs, especially the steep ones between our shower room and the bed on the mezzanine. "This hotel is on the outskirts of town in an area where many of the chain/budget hotels are located. It's easily accessible from the autoroute and had plenty of parking right outside. It's about a 10 minute stroll into the old town. In short a decent location. Being brutally honest the exterior of the hotel looked a little tired and slightly scruffy. My heart didnt lift when I saw it, but it overall it was fine. The interior and breakfast were a similar story. Perfectly ok, no more, it was ok. We were travelling with our small dog and it was very dog friendly which perhaps some of the chain hotels are not. The location is good for dogs with plenty of walkable, nearby green spaces for them. The receptionist we dealt with spoke perfect English. To summarise, this is a conveniently located, reasonable hotel which is dog friendly."
