"Fantastic location. Very helpful owners/property manager. Kitchen pans could do with an upgrade. Two bathroom windows wouldn’t open and the small bedroom has paint flaking from the ceiling onto to the bed. Internet connection is very slow if you need to work. None of these minor criticisms would put me off staying again."

"My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it! It was a good location for exploring the castles in Northern Wales as well as Snowdonia National Park. It rained part of our trip but we were able to watch two beautiful sunsets from the house and walk by the sheep farms that are all around. The hosts were great with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend for a peaceful stay."

"This cottage is in a great location for exploring north wales. Straight out of door into forestry walks. Well equipped kitchen. Overall rating lowered due to a couple of negatives. Was promised an initial set of wood/kindling on arrival but this was not provided nor were dishwasher tablets. The bedrooms are small but fine for a weekend. "This cottage is amazing. Set on the banks of the river in the beautiful village of Beddgelert, this is a great place to stay for an adventure in the Snowdonia National Park. "The property was perfect for our needs including location as the purpose of our stay was to visit ZipWorld to celebrate a 70th birthday. The property had everything we needed for all the generations. The games room was well used. It was good that pets were welcome too. We felt very at home and beautifully clean. "We had a wonderful stay in Rhyd Ddu - the cottage was lovely and the location was perfect for walking. Our dog absolutely loved the garden! I was a bit concerned about the on road parking but it was absolutely fine. The tea room opposite is closed for 2024 and also up for sale (July 2024) which was a bit of a shame but the pub down the road was really nice."

If I was the owner of the park, I wouldn't allow this cottage to be associated with it. Now for the negatives. 1. "This cottage is just LOVELY! I'm working in the area - and this was a great place to stay. A lovely cottage - picture perfect inside and out. Sitting in the garden after work was fab. Facilities inside are great. And the lemon drizzle cake....! Pub across the road is terrific too - lovely food and good value. I certainly hope to stay again."
