「Very quiet and peaceful」

「If you prefer something off the beaten path with gorgeous views and think it is worth driving out of your way to see views you won’t see by staying in a tourist area, this place was worth it. I wish we had booked it for longer so we had time to explore the area. The host was great and very responsive to messages. I didn’t realize it was an apartment attached to the back of their house but honestly it didn’t bother us at all. She had everything we needed in the apartment plus some.」

「Really enjoyed my stay at Glengarriff Hostel. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The self check-in was easy, and the free tea, coffee and breakfast basics were a nice bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Glengarriff and the Beara Peninsula, and the host was always quick to help if I had any questions. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone backpacking around Ireland.」

「This is a great little spot. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and very generous. A few things id not before booking. The bathroom is quite small, so if you want to change privately, it might be difficult to do so. They also didn't have shampoo or conditioner, but once I asked for some, the hosts were very accommodating - perhaps giving me some from their own bathroom! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend!!」

「We stayed for one night. Great boutique hotel. Food in bar was exceptional and the morning breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in Ireland so far. I would definitely recommend the hotel.」
