Peaceful Waterfront Cabin

"This location is the quintessential northern Michigan cabin. The deck is well built and incredibly relaxing - love the gas fire pit! It was fun watching the boats go by while we fished. The cabin is small but plenty of space for the queen blowup mattress since we needed another bed. No dishwasher but had all the amenities you would expect. The bathroom might be tight for bigger people but again, had everything we needed. We’d love to come back to this friendly town and to this cabin!"

"House was perfect for our family of 5. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing. We loved floating on the big float. We played a game of whiffle ball in the evening before dinner and played Yahtzee and cards after to wind down. The sunset from the dock was amazing and stargazing was phenomenal. We had a great time."

"The whole process was easy from start to finish, and the host had great communication throughout our stay. They sent a helpful pre visit email packed with great suggestions for things to do in the area, which was such a nice touch. The house had everything you could possibly think of, from games to kayaks, beach toys, chairs, and more. We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake and coming back to relax by the fire pit in the evenings. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, so it truly felt like our own home away from home. We can't recommend this place enough!"

"This was one our best vacations! We wished we could have stayed longer, it was perfect! The cabin is on a quiet street and because it dead ends right at the water there is no traffic. This was an unexpected perk; no cars meant our small dog had nothing to barking at! The boats & kayakers on the canal kept him quietly occupied. The location is perfect and the small town of Central Lake has everything you need, groceries, small shops, restaurants, community events, great walking areas. The cabin is clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the outdoor BBQ was clean too! Both bedrooms are just the right size and the beds were comfortable. The owner has created a great place to stay and relax."

"We really enjoyed our time at Loon Lake Lodge. We also rented a boat for a few days and were able to tie it up to the dock. It was relaxing but we had plenty to do. Check in and out were easy too."

"Nice house kitchen a bit undersized and could use a bit more seating in living room. Pillows are terrible but you kinda expect that in a rental. Great to have second fridge in garage and a ping pong table. Not much of a yard at water but not a deal breaker. The lake and property are super peaceful. We had a great week. The fees from Vrbo and property management are ridiculous which makes it hard to consider renting again."
