"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags."

"Really good cottage only about 2 mins walk from centre of Ambleside. Had everything you need for a nice simple stay in the lakes. Great views from the front room over the hills. "We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊"

"Lovely cottage, well-equipped. Wonderful position for walking straight from the cottage, and the valley with its birdsong and red squirrels is a joy. The track up to the cottage has some slightly challenging moments for a standard small car that’s low to the ground, but we managed fine. Overall, a magical cottage in a magical setting."

Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions.
