  • Downstairsアパートメントの広々としたデッキは、満潮時に水際からわずか数フィートです。 家の正面玄関には2段の小さなデッキがあります。ハーバーサイドデッキのスライド式ガラスドアには、ランプと手すりがあります。
    ガラス張りのスライドドアは暖炉のあるリビングルームエリアに通じています。 港側のベッドルームにはクイーンサイズのベッドがあり、セカンドベッドルームにはツインベッドがあります。 ほんの数歩のところに大浴場があります。

Little Island House

My wife and I had an incredible week staying at Charlene’s accommodation. It was clean, very homey, and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the deck, watching lobster boats come in and out, and watching beautiful sunsets. The area is very quiet and perfect for a quiet vacation! We hope to come back someday.

The cottage was located in a beautiful serine private spot on Bass Harbor. We arrived and the cottage was super clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware provided. Cozy layout with a gorgeous porch overlooking the bay. Owner was great in communication and we could not have dreamed of a better place. Looking forward to return next year!

Relaxing with a View

This was the best place we have ever rented. We absolutely loved how close the house was to the water. Very relaxing to sit on the deck or on chairs in living room viewing the water and lobster boats. The place was extra tidy and well equipped with everything we needed.

Bass Harbor

This was our 2nd time renting this great house. Small, clean, comfortable. But the location is wonderful with amazing views and the sunsets will knock your socks off! Stunning.

Exceptional property

Location, location! We loved being on the quiet side of the island watching the working harbor from the deck of this exceptional property! Small, but functional apartment with every need accommodated. Remote, but still close to hiking, sight seeing and restaurants. It was a perfect vacation week!

A little island treasure

We had a wonderful stay. After adventuring during the day we couldn’t wait to come home and watch the sunsets from the deck. The house was cozy and we had everything we needed. Even the bed was comfortable allowing my tired body a good night’s rest. Staying there was so relaxing. 10/10.

Wonderful Stay

We always enjoy our visit to Bass Harbor and LIH is the cherry on top! Beautiful views, access to Acadia, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Host communication was prompt and helpful. We’ll be back!!

My happy place on the Quiet Side

This was our second stay in The Little Island House. I plan on returning. There's nothing more relaxing than having morning coffee on the deck overlooking the harbor. Watching the lobster boats and sea birds. The rental is comfortable and extremely clean. I adored the crisp white sheets on the bed.

Great stay at a wonderful house!

We arrived to find everything ready for us and welcoming. The apartment has everything you could need to be comfortable, to cook at home, to relax, and watch the water, sealife, and boats. We even saw a bald eagle! It is convenient to acadia, the ferry, and several restaurants. We did not need to contact Charlene at all as everything was perfect. We would definitely rent here again.

Little Island Way

Great house. Immaculate! The kitchen had any tool I needed. Really comfortable beds! Million dollar views. Hiking trails nearby including some within walking distance. It really felt like home to me. 3 minute walk to a restaurant with tasty seafood, good beers and a fabulous staff! Most restful vacation in a very long time.

Wonderful. Peaceful. Relaxing.

Total enjoyment of this exceptionally clean property. The back deck provides a peaceful waterfront view of the harbor with hours of viewing the birds, boats and tides. Everything we needed was included in each room for a comfortable stay. The decor provided a comfy atmosphere with a New England feel. We enjoyed the beautiful artwork. The bed was so comfortable. Great nights sleep in silence until the sounds of the lobster boats heading out in the early morning hours, which we also enjoyed. Will look forward to returning.

A little piece of Heaven!

Our third time to little island house. Incredible views, peaceful and beauty all around! When we were there, It was 98 degrees where we live and in Bass Harbor it was in the 50s. We had the fireplace on in July! I am a clean freak! The house is immaculate! Charlene and Jenn are a pleasure and respond quickly with all your questions. We never want to leave. We shall return!

Fall in Love with Little Island House

Fall is a perfect time to be here. The Quiet side of Arcadia National Park is at your doorstep!! Comfortable beds and nice variety of kitchen and bathroom supplies are there for your use. Propane grill works great ! Our 3rd time staying there and wouldn't dream of renting anywhere else! We will be back ❣️ Nearby Southwest Harbor has some great places to eat. Breakfast at Sips, Drydock for dinner to name a couple of places. Thurstons Lobster Pound across the Harbor in Bernard... Several places to get lobsters !! So much to see and close to everything. Beautiful drive to Bar Harbor and anywhere in Acadia. Location and views are worth it. There is a great sightseeing boat trip, Island Cruise, open in season...
