Overall great accommodation with good amenities. The rooms were clean, however I noted that the curtain had some staining. Quiet area with a boulangerie opposite and other small shops in walking distance. Easy access to Basel by tram approx 5 min walk

Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Location about a 2-minute walk from the Swiss border is super convenient. The Swiss tram station is about a 5-minute walk away, and from there you’re in Basel-City within about 10 minutes. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice reception, but communication was not easy, i took only 2 breakfasts, but 3 was charged, in the end this problem solved. Bathroom has no working ventilation system, it came worst air ever. Unfortunately they could offer me any other room.

We enjoyed our stay the reception was fantastic on giving us information. We walked into Basel and St Louis , a short distance and with great recommendations from the hotel as for where to eat or trams to use.

Stayed here many times as gives a reasonably priced option for Basel. Tram stop less than 5 mins walk away which takes you into central Basel in 10 mins. Hotel itself is fabulous. I’ll stay again.

The hotel is near the airport and the border with Switzerland. The staff is excellent, and the room is spacious. It is a pity that there is no air conditioning, but I hope they will renovate soon.

Nice and charming hotel. However, I was searching on Expedia for a hotel in Basel, Switzerland, so listing a property in a different country (France), no matter how close to Basel, should have been clearly indicated. I chose this hotel because it seemed like good value for money and only realized it was in France when preparing my maps for the trip weeks later. As a result, I had to pay additional fees for the car rental permit to cross the border, so the value was not as good as it first appeared. This is not the hotel’s fault but rather an issue with the Expedia system. I am still giving the hotel a good review, but I want to warn future travelers about this potential problem.

Rooms are squalid. The beds were very low standard, low profile, and hard. The apartment was not the same as shown in the pictures. No ventilation and exhaust fan in the kitchen and washroom. Very bad smell in the entire apartment because of poor ventilation. Never book again.

really good value for money accommodation, for the price & proximity to Basel city centre it was the best I could find. From arriving the staff were all very friendly & professional. The room was clean with all electrical appliances working. The only downside was a little noise from the traffic outside, with the room facing the road. We didn’t use the breakfast facilities or the pool, this was our own choice. If visiting Basel again we would definitely consider staying at the hotel.

Extrêmement chaud dans la chambre, Rideaux laissant passer lumière et chaleur, très mauvaise isolation pour un hotel sans clime. Canalisation bouchée - prendre une douche c'est une aventure, et pas de réaction à la réclamation. Piscine inutilisable, bruiilante et sans aération correcte... Très décevant pour un "Adagio", nous avons change d'hôtel.
