We've had a very good experience with this stay. The property is located in an open environment with a stunning surrounding view. Sleeping in a 1300 years old, stone room was definitely a rare opportunity. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. We wish we could have...

A beautiful hotel, amazing pool (the top one) for lazying about for a day. Restaurant was only ok, same for the food by the pool.

We had a wonderful experience at this farm property. What an amazing view!

So beautiful and restorative! Spa and dining were superb. The staff is happy and so kind. This was just what I needed! The countryside and the rooms were incredible! I loved everything about my stay here. I walked out feeling completely rejuvenated!! I will come back! ❤️

Veronica at the front desk is amazing. She made me feel so welcome. the buildings and grounds are stunning.

The quaintness of staying on a working farm in Umbria made the stay memorable. The accommodations were simple yet perfect. The owner and his family were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Dinner was fantastic and very reasonable. The experience was wonderful and I would recommend it for those that want to experience Umbrian life.

The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! Breakfast was yummy. I wish I took more of the chocolate pastry. Staff was so helpful and friendly. We even met the owner, who was so kind and most generous. I highly recommend staying at Casale Serena. It would be best to get there before dark so you don't miss the signs to locate Serena. You can walk to...

INCREDIBLE! This was our favorite place in Italy, it was like living in a fairy tale. Beautiful view, wonderful restaurant, accommodations and service were above and beyond. Concierge went out of his way to be kind and make great recommendations for attractions in the area. He is the heart of the place and the family said talking with him was one of the highlights of the trip! The property was well thought out and immaculately maintained. If I had to give constructive feedback I would...

My adult daughter and I were guests for a week at La Gabelletta, and I look forward to returning as soon as I can. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hosts gracious and welcoming, the site mellow and warm, the pool clean and cool. Our blood pressures dropped measurably. We dined splendidly on homemade pastas, crisp, ripe melon with aged prosciutto and wonderful lamb chops off the grill. If you really want to experience Italy, I highly recommend the short trip to Amelia and La...

Absolutely Stunning! The grounds and rooms are first class! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects during the stay. Peaceful and serene is an understatement. Food and breakfast at the resort is top notch. Other dining options near the resort are amazing. Al Baciamano and Seven Cafe are great stops. Close enough to Tuscany day trips. Will definitely stay again and share with friends looking for a relaxing first class stay and amenities.

Another of those wonderful restaurants that happens to have B&B type hotel rooms. Beautiful location, great food and lovely staff! Recommended.

Very comfortable and quiet place somewhat outside the town. We loved cooling in the pool before an excellent meal of cheese, salad, pasta and wild boar. The owners are a friendly family, and even picked us up in town when we phoned to say that we'd exhausted ourselves walking 20 km in high heat to reach the area.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the atmosphere, and especially the people, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only issue was finding the property. To be fair, La Casella provided very clear directions and specifically advised us not to rely on GPS. Unfortunately, we decided to follow the GPS anyway and ended up lost on a very difficult road in the middle of nowhere. My advice to future guests: carefully follow the...
